Local fans of all things Jack White need mark your calendars.  White is bringing his newest starship enterprise to First Avenue on July 27.  The Dead Weather hopped onto the radar last March, immediately releasing a couple vids while also playing some surprise gigs.  Since that time no one has looked back, only forward to the release of their first album Horehound and the announcement of a national tour.  Well here they are, glowingly so.  Pick up Horehound at your local CD shop on July 14th, and if you’re wise I advise, pick up tickets even sooner.  I suspect the mainroom may sell out.
