Mika Miko have announced a summer east-to-west coast tour, and the 7th Street Entry has been plugged into the middle.  On the band’s myspace page under the “Upcoming Shows” heading, the band muses “Does Prince Own This”? in reference to First Ave.

Mika Miko, if you’re reading, the borangs can assure you that no, Prince does not own First Avenue nightclub.  But you might be comforted in knowing that First Ave. is legendary in its own right, and doesn’t need the Purple Man to solidify its fond placement  in the history books.  The venue is ready for you to rock it, but be sure you’re ready for it to rock you as well!
