Sub Pop is still pumping out good bands, though this isn’t the early 90′s anymore.  Here is a short list of some of the more well-known:

And Obits, didn’t you know?  Truly, I just found out minutes ago, but I’m on the wagon.  In many ways, these Brooklyn street dwellers remind me fondly of Minneapolis’ own Young Brides.  You can catch them swingin’ through town on July 26 joined by Disappears from Chicago, and also Minnesota’s very own The Dynamiters.  Wanna hear a tune?
