L.A.’s the Silversun Pickups will be pulling into the State Theatre in August and the wise rock fan snatches the ticket early.  Oddly enough, I might have expected a First Avenue  show for the indie rockers, but perhaps our storied local venue wasn’t quite large enough?  This may have been the case, considering the group has been hanging out comfortably on the CMJ top list for, oh, awhile now.
