Before anyone even knew what emo was (note: I still don’t), there was Sunny Day Real State.  This band was one of the best, albeit short-lived, bands of the post-Sub Pop boom of the early 90’s.  After two break-ups and a series of individual, high profile appearances (two members played in the Foo Fighters with Dave Grohl), the original members are reportedly back together and preparing to pick up where they left off thirteen or so years ago.

If you weren’t into the underground indie scene in the 90’s, then chances are Sunny Day may be new to you.  Listen to these, and prepare to pack First Ave. for what could be one of the best shows of the year.  (Seriously, I’m not kidding, and I hope I’m right!)
