I have to say that we lucked out here in Minneapolis, because The Sounds are coming to visit The Varsity on May, 8th without their current touring partners No Doubt.  I am a huge fan of No Doubt, I just can’t afford even the cheapest tickets, nor do I feel like sitting in the nose bleed section of the Xcel just to watch them on the monitor. The Sounds are offering us the opportunity to enjoy their show at a fraction of the cost and actually see them first hand.  For all of you out there that will come just to have the chance to drool over Maya,  the super hot- young Blondie-like singer, here is your chance!  To be fair, the boys aren’t so bad themselves.  Now that the “eye candy” has been covered (It’s not like the fact that this is a ridiculously attractive band would have escaped anyone),  their music is fun!  As I drove around I could not help myself from being reminded of The Cardigans and Tilt.  Ya, I know, that is an odd combination to imagine!  I just wanted to sing along to Maya’s beautiful voice and speed, but I was good and watched my speed limit.  Watch and Listen to The Sounds playing “Song with a Mission”.
