TheBorangutan Borangutans 2009 Local Articles in Review

2009 was a breakout year for Borangutan (literally).  We first began writing about the local Minnesota rock music scene in February, and as the year progressed we published many articles containing interviews, reviews, music downloads, and photographs of and from many of the best artists and bands our state has to offer.  If you are new to Borangutan the following is especially for you.  Below is a hand-picked listing of links to what we consider some of our best work in 2009.  We hope you find some time to visit or revisit these memories, and as we welcome 2010, dually hope you’ll return to read about and listen to the great depth of artistry our local musicians provide.

Now for a little musical irony, something to listen to while you review.  I can’t help but be pleasantly overwhelmed by the great contributions all writers, photographers, and artists made to our site in 2009.  This site truly belongs to you and you’ve made it what it is!
