Lucy Michelle and the Velvet Lapelles are one of the Twin Cities’ favorite folk troupes, and they visited the Northern Outpost last weekend.  While present they expounded upon the nature of cities as music epicenters, how they are anti-goal oriented, and how Lucy Michelle writes songs when she’s really supposed to be doing something else.  I find Lucy Michelle’s whistle personally exhilarating.  Beautiful!
