“Nu Dead Pretty” Video – Mach FoX
Woah! We just caught wind of this new video from Twin Cities industrial rockers Mach FoX. The vid features live show footage of the band all decked out in true gothic fashion with scenes of traditional/classical masks, futuristic abstract images, and a spider slotted in between.
Interestingly, that spider invoked a certain amount of nostalgia in me since I used to kill time out on the Great Plains by feeding grasshoppers to its kind (I know, how morbid – but they’re so fascinating!). Pretty darn sure that’s a black-and-yellow garden spider. They’re voracious eaters, not poisonous to humans, and some of the best web weavers I’ve ever seen! Eh, useless knowledge – enjoy the video!

Those spiders rock. I’d consider hiring a few to hang out in my garden and kill the earwigs, but… they don’t show their faces around these parts too often.
