Halloween, Alaska, Mayda, and Pictures of Then
Today is July 6, 2009, and I’m battling off a tuft of the cold. Excedrin migraine – I now swear by it.
Typically I only post one fun little vid or pic each day in the news post, and usually it’s of some local significance. Today, however, you get two, because sometimes more than one great snippet of our scene surfaces in a day.
The first is some footage of local artist Mayda performing at the Mad Ripple Hootenanny, currently being held at The Music Box theater. The video and sound quality are so-so, but the beauty of the venue shines along with the song. The second vid below is a clip of an interview and partial performance from Ari Herstand when he visited Cedarburg. May you enjoy and click many links.
Thanks to wr3n over at MN Stories for posting the above footage.
