Read What We Read – David Bowie’s Son, Mx2007, and Maudlin

Today is May 26, 2009, and I’m about to sweep myself away to a little political rally where I plan on rallying about. And believe you, me – I know how to rally about!

I hear a lot about Maudlin from friends I know.  Rumor has it they are unabashedly superstitious, terrific story tellers, and quite the live entertainers.  They recently (or not so recently?) played a live set on a local community access station called Town Square Television.  The band notes on their myspace blog that the station had the challenge of mixing them at 240 decibels, and hence, the outcome fell a bit short of the big budget, MTV bling bling projects.  But who the hell wants those anyway?

Enjoy, and consider supporting Town Square Television.
