Slash, Machine 22, and Diego Stocco
Some people just do the darnest things.
When I was a boy I remember a friend I had who played on the same little league baseball team as me. One time we both got shoved into the outfield at practice, and a kid who was chosen to swing the bat for awhile had no hope of ever getting the ball out to us. So we did what all bored kids do. We screwed around with the stitching on our gloves, picked our noses probably, and chewed our nails (at least I did).
Then the other boy (sheesh, I can’t even remember his name!) called my name from about thirty feet away, and then I heard it. This strange noise emanating from his hands, sounding like a screeching eel. He had taken a thick blade of crab grass, pinched it between his thumbs, put it up to his mouth, and blown in. You probably know what I’m talking about, almost all of us learned how to do this as kids, right?
But some people take making noises with natural flora to an entirely different level. Case in point, Diego Stocco. When a blade of grass just isn’t enough, use a whole damn tree!
