Ike Reilly Assassination at the Turf Club, June 18th.
Ever catch yourself listening to a song that reminds you so much of another song? Listening to Ike Reilly Assassination’s “Broken Parakeet Blues” made me start singing “Like a Rolling Stone”. This band masters their Bob Dylan influence, and on June 18th they are coming to the city that Dylan hailed from. The band is making its way north, from the windy city, with their ninth album Poison The Hit Parade. The Turf Club is the only announced show date at the moment, but you can be certain that more dates will come.
Take a listen to Ike Reilly Assassination play “Broken Parakeet Blues”, and don’t feel bad if you break into a Dylan song.
