The Sounds new album Crossing the Rubicon is running high on my list of current favs, and the new video for “No One Sleeps When I’m Awake” is exactly all I had hoped for.  The formula, however, is quite simple: just put the band on screen and allow singer Maja Ivarsson to show off unrestrained sass and spunk.  It gets me every time.

The Sounds played the Varsity Theater back on May 8th.  No word on when they might return.
