Yeah Yeah Yeah’s Release “Zero” Video
I’ve never considered myself a fan of the Yeah Yeah Yeah’s. The first time I heard someone refer to them as an “art rock” band my mouth went sour. I felt stupid. Apparently I had been under some kind of illusionment! I thought, perhaps naively, that all rock n’ roll bands were “artistic” and comprised of “artists”. Hmm… apparently only those who are particularly artistic (whatever that means) get to showcase the badge.
But I was wrong about the Yeah Yeah Yeah’s, and for awhile I gave them the cold shoulder on account of genre slinging fools. This is a great band, and this is a great video. For now the band is touring Europe, but if by chance they should pay the Twin Cities a visit later this fall I certainly will be found lurking somewhere near the front of the stage.

Just wondering what it is you like about the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. ? Some bands, be it indie bands, rock bands or other- just get you with the music. Your reviews of rock music are appreciated- and I like the music related videos too, so don’t get me wrong…. I’m not bashing your choice of music or favorite bands or anything- Just wondering what you dig about the band yeah yeah yeah’s.
BTW- I’m a super fan of rock and roll, pop-rock, indie rock and more. Keep up the good cause for the love of music!
