The Mad Ripple Hootenanny – Jim Walsh and Friends Perform in the 89.3 The Current Studios
Jim Walsh (aka The Mad Ripple) brought his friends Martin Devaney, Eliza Blue, and Little Man into the Current Studios to do a little rendition of a song called “Banjo Lisa.” The Walsh led Hootenanny has been increasingly a community staple of our local music scene, inviting one and all to come together with a spirit of comraderie and enjoyment through music. In recent months the Hootenanny has been held at the Beat Coffeehouse, but The Mad Ripple Myspace page notes that upcoming dates include Friday night’s July 3 and July 10 at The Music Box located near 14th and Nicollet in south Minneapolis.
Terrific performance, thanks guys!
